Livermore High School has a long, proud history first opening its doors in 1891 and has held on to programs and practices that have served their students well. Livermore High staff remains dedicated to ensuring that all students receive and complete four academically rigorous years of study that will prepare them for whatever postsecondary life they choose to pursue. The focus on California Common Core State Standards, along with continuous technological developments, staff development and a schoolwide commitment to excellence are among the main tenets of Livermore High. Most importantly, the vision shared by staff and students is that upon graduation students will enter higher education or the workplace as responsible, educated, ethical adults and productive members of society.
