DESCRIPTION:The Race to the Flagpole is a community oriented race through beautiful wine country in Livermore California. The event is organized by the Livermore Granada Boosters\, a local organization that has been celebrating the excellence of scholar athletes in Livermore since 1949.  \nRace Day is Saturday\, January 26\, 2019 beginning at Independence Park in beautiful Livermore California. The 5k and 10k race is through scenic Sycamore grove\, where you will be able to take in breathtaking views of the Livermore wine country. Both courses are mostly flat with a majority on dirt trails.   \nRace day bib pickup is: 6:45-8:15 Am at Independence Park 2798 Holmes Street Livermore.  \nThe 10k starts at 8:45 AM\, 5k 9:00 AM\, 1 Mile run 10:15 AM. \nAll participants receive a commemorative t-shirt\, medal and post race refreshments. The top male and female finishers will also be recognized for the 5k\, 10k and 1 mile runs.  \nAll participants receive free downloadable photos.
