Love Livermore Live Parking Volunteer
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Love Livermore Live! We are an annual fundraiser and music festival for Livermore Schools. 100% of the proceeds from this event will go directly to LVJUSD! By signing up you can fulfill community service hours AND get a free ticket to our festival (a $65 value)!
We are looking for volunteers to help us ensure that parking for the event will run smoothly and safely. Guests will need assistance being guided into parking spots, as they will be parking in an open field across the street from Darcie Kent Vineyards. Guests will also need guidance crossing Tesla Road. We are looking to fill 3 shifts with a minimum of 7 volunteers during each shift. In exchange for volunteering we will be offering free admittance to Love Livermore Live Festival (12pm-6pm). You may sign-up for more than one shift and this is encouraged and appreciated. Below is a breakdown of all of the jobs and responsibilities.
Parking Attendant – Beyer Ranch Field – (2)
- Greet guests and point to parking attendant in the field
- Park cars as close as possible in rows
- Direct cars to pull all the way forward to ensure passageway and egress
Tesla Road Crosswalk – (1)
- Use sign to escort patrons across the street from Beyer Ranch parking safely across Tesla Road
Parking Attendant – Asphalt Loop – (3)
- Greet guests and point to parking attendant up the loop
- Park cars as close as possible
- Bumpers of cars MUST clear the asphalt for fire accessibility
- Additional attendant to wait at the exit side of the loop to ensure new arrivals are parking accurately
Loading Zone Assistant – (1)
- Stay at artist loading/rideshare drop-off zone
- Instruct artist where to unload (dependent on stage performing)
- Instruct drivers to not unload the entire vehicle and then park (do not let drivers leave their vehicles).
- Shift 1 – 11:00-2:00 (The event begins at 12)
- Shift 2 – 1:00-4:00
- Shift 3 – 3:00-6:00
