East Bay Trail Challenge

It should come as no surprise one of the biggest reasons we LOVE LIVERMORE is for it’s beautiful landscape and numerous parks. Whether you’re new to hiking and biking or a weekend warrior looking to better your PRs…you can find your idea of fun at any one of our local East Bay Regional Parks located right here in Livermore: Brushy Peak, Del Valle, and Morgan Territory.

These local parks offer convenient access to a variety of easy, moderate, and challenging trails. But if you are up for more and looking to explore new trails then check out the 2022 East Bay Trail Challenge! This is the 29th year the challenge is taking place. This year you’ll have 20 trails to choose from. Select 5 trails and hike or bike a cumulative 26.2 miles to complete the challenge and receive a commemorative pin.

To get started:

  2. Download Trails Challenge Guide Book
  3. Use this trail log if you like
  4. Submit your completed trails online
